Enprecis is proud to be one of the initial recipients of a China Accelerator incubator grant from Washington State. The grant will help us grow our in-country representation in China to better serve existing and future clients in the developing country.
Enprecis is pleased to have been selected as an initial participant in the newly created China Accelerator program, made possible by a federal State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Grant to Washington State. The $1.6 million federal STEP Grant, matched by $531,000 in state funds, will be used to market Washington State as a leading source of effective export, as well as to provide export vouchers, accelerator grants, and financing assistance to small and medium export-oriented enterprises in Washington State. The STEP Grant program was launched to raise the number and dollar amount of U.S. small business exports.
Washington State is targeting $58 million in export sales for the grant period, which will help 47 new-to-export companies and 54 new-to-market companies more successfully establish their businesses at home and abroad. A partnership with the Export Finance Assistance Center of Washington will further support the growth of export activity in Washington State.
Enprecis is proud to be one of the initial recipients of a China Accelerator incubator grant from Washington State. The grant will help us grow our in-country representation in China to better serve existing and upcoming clients in the developing country. Our goals for participation in the China Accelerator program include:
• Improve in-market services to clients with expanded local representation
• Develop and strengthen relationships with automakers in China
• Gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese automotive market
• Broaden our user base in China
We look forward to continuing to expand our presence in the rapidly developing Chinese market.
