Enprecis Continues Expanding into Global Markets

Enprecis grows global business with help from the Department of Commerce.

We've previously noted our excitement to be participating in the China Accelerator component of the federal STEP Grant program. The Washington State Department of Commerce has played an important role in helping us expand into global markets. In 2011, we participated in the Governor's trade mission to Europe. During this trip, Enprecis made valuable contacts with major automakers that are supporting our continued global expansion.

As we continue our international growth, we are utilizing the Washington State Department of Commerce's China Accelerator Program to open a Shanghai office. Our CEO, Richard Counihan, summarized our collaboration with the Washington State Department of Commerce by stating, "Without the state's assistance and programs we would have been unable to get access to the key decision makers at these large global manufacturers resulting in swift decisions to move forward and assistance in getting up and running in markets such as China."
